dc.description.abstract1 | Problematic aspects of the system “hydroacoustic station – surface ship”, with the station equipped with the arrays of variable depth, have been discussed. The aim of the paper is to study the physical fields of the considered system when their linear flexible long-length arrays are towed near the sea surface. Using the image method in the system “plane solid bound – electroelastic cylindrical piezoceramic shell” to solve the differential equations that describe the motion of elastic media in the inner and outer space of the transducers of the array, as well as the motion of the thin piezoceramic shell with thickness polarization and forced electrostatics for piezoceramics, enabled obtaining analytical equations of the physical fields created by the linear arrays in the process of their operation near the sea surface. These equations are initial for obtaining numerical data on the properties of acoustical, mechanical and electrical fields of the array depending on the towing conditions. The study results can be applied for assessment of the changes of the effectiveness of the system “hydroacoustic station – surface ship” when operating conditions are changing and are the basis for the decision to change the array towing conditions, if required. | |
